OpenDroneMap: A Community-focused Solution to Making Drone Data Usable Speaker: India Johnson OpenDroneMap is an open software platform that processes raw drone imagery into 2D (orthophotos and elevation models) and 3D (point clouds and textured meshes) data. These data are applied in site planning, tree canopy analysis, hydrology, and crop analysis, among other uses.

The codebase is on GitHub and open to contributors. The main project as well as WebUI (its user interface) are coded primarily in Python.

We will review the installation and use of OpenDroneMap (ODM) using drone test data. We will also talk about how you can contribute to the project.
