About this event

Enjoy rare historic photographs and stories that reveal Ohio City’s true history and heart.

Ohio City is more than just a neighborhood.

In just a few square miles on Cleveland’s west side, you’ll find

The oldest continuously operating public market in America, a stop on the Underground Railroad, Ohio’s most haunted building, a boulevard of Victorian mansions, and a brewing tradition stretching from 19th-century German lager empires to todayall fall within a few square miles in Cleveland’s West side. Author Thomas Kaschalk reveals just how much history and heart is packed into Cleveland’s Ohio City.

Tom Kaschalk is the founder of My Cleveland History and a volunteer researcher at the Cuyahoga County Archives whose books, presentations, and research helps to preserve and share the stories of Cleveland’s neighborhoods and the people who built them.
