About this event
Join Us for the Annual Stay Alive 5K & 1 Mile Walk!
Every winter, people experiencing homelessness face a life-or-death battle against the cold. You can help change that.
On November 8th, 2026 , Sub Zero Mission invites you to lace up your shoes and take a stand. The Stay Alive 5K & 1 Mile Walk is more than a race — it’s a direct lifeline for the homeless in our community, with a special focus on our Veterans.
Every dollar raised helps us hand-deliver thousands of warming items directly to those who need them most: hats, coats, boots, gloves, and sleeping bags — our Stay Alive 5 .
What to Expect
• A welcoming event for runners and walkers of all levels
• Special Veteran recognition ceremony (please complete the Veteran questions on the registration form)
• Sub Zero branded merchandise available for purchase
• 100% of proceeds go directly to the Mission
Sub Zero Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Painesville, Ohio, committed to one powerful goal: “Nobody Should Freeze to Death in America™”
Come out. Have fun. Save lives.
